You told me when you truly love somebody you don’t say “love you” but instead you make sure to say “ I love you ” or else it doesn’t mean anything. Everyday I can still hear you voice on the phone saying to me, “ I love you, my aphrodite. ” And let me tell you, even after you left me for nothing, you abandoned me and broke every promise you have ever promised me, the way you tell her “ love you. ”, it keeps me moving on BECAUSE EVERY TIME YOU TELL HER THAT I WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO THAT 2AM PHONE CALL WHEN YOU TOLD ME THE IMPORTANCE OF SAYING I LOVE YOU IF YOU TRULY LOVE SOMEBODY. Maybe I’m insane. Maybe I’m just trying to find an excuse to believe you still love me and I’m still your goddess. But what I do know, is even with you holding another girl with a baby girl on the way to start off your new family, I’m still here, and I still love you.

This post was from May of 2016. It is now February of 2018 and I have been reunited with the love of my life. My best friend. My everything. Never did I think he would ever be back in my life, but here he is.
